At Champlain College,
learning extends beyond the classroom
walls. Our academic and civic centers
give students the opportunity to collaborate
with other students, faculty members
and industry partners to address community
and global issues. Through the collaborative
process students learn how to become
leaders; to be responsible, respectful,
proactive citizens; and to think critically
about community, creativity, team
work, leadership and professionalism.
Office
of Student Diversity and Inclusion
The Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion (OSDI) was created to help Champlain’s increasingly diverse population engage in academic and campus activities. The office strives to create a more diverse and rich college community and offers advocacy and support to under-represented students, in particular. OSDI sponsors a variety of academic, social, and educational events and activities for students, faculty, staff and community members throughout the entire academic year.
Champlain College's
Center for Digital Investigation (C3DI)
provides educational training and
services to assist law enforcement
agencies in Vermont and throughout
the nation, in areas related to computer
forensics and other digital investigations.
The CSCE provides
the encouragement, resources and training
that allow our students, faculty and
staff to connect with the community
-- on local, national and global levels
-- through leadership, community service,
mentorship, partnership, reflection
and dialogue.
The guiding mission
of the Emergent Media Center at Champlain
College is to provide an environment
that fosters the development of creativity,
entrepreneurship and professional
skills for Champlain students in emergent
media fields, particularly electronic
game development.
Through Champlain’s
Online and Continuing Education Division,
the Workforce Development Center offers
credit-bearing educational opportunities
for working adults who want to improve,
upgrade and master professional knowledge
for their career development.
