As a student-driven publication, the Current's mission is to cover the subjects and people of importance and interest to the campus community. In news stories, feature articles, profiles, reviews (music, concert, game, book, and restaurant), columns, and commentaries, student writers cover a broad range of topics and deliver a slate of varied opinions each month.
With an always-growing staff (now at 28 reporters, writers, and photographers), the Current offers students the chance to get published. The educational component of the Current adds to its dynamic and energy. For-credit internships and independent studies are available for select students.
If you are interested in writing for the Current, contact Warren Baker, faculty advisor, at baker@champlain.edu.
