2009 Alumni Leadership Awards

A diverse slate of Champlain College graduates were honored for their leadership during the College's 2009 Alumni Leadership Awards Oct. 24 at ECHO Lake Aquarium & Science Center. The winners included: (pictured left, l-r): Roger A. Perry Award-Tina Wiles '87 and '92; Vermonter Award-Kerry Sleeper '76; Robert Skiff Award-Kim Ireland '85; Arthur Tittemore Award-Donald Lewis '59; President's Award-Nora Haynes '02; C. "Champlain College Alumni Leadership Awards are given to those alums who have demonstrated great leadership in their career, outstanding service to the community, or a notable accomplishment. These awards, with the exception of the President's Award and the Vermonter Award, are given out in honor of past Champlain College presidents," Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving Alison Johnson '89 and '97 explained.

Other activities during the fall weekend included a luncheon for the Class of 1959, a 20th Anniversary Celebration for the Radiography program, a cocktail reception, a wine tasting, bowling, and a 5K Fun Run/Walk.

The 2010 Alumni Award Celebration is planned for Sept. 25. Watch for details online and in the mail.
