Beginnings and Endings

It's worth taking a moment in this season to remember where Champlain College graduates begin-at orientation and convocation in those final days of summer. For the incoming Class of 2013 last fall, there were hugs from Mom and Dad, then meeting new friends and roommates, and learning the school song.

For the Class of 2010, a senior dinner with the Champlain College trustees on April 1 signaled the approaching reality of their commencement and life after Champlain. And as they arranged themselves for a 2010 class picture, many found it hard to believe that four years had passed. It seemed like just yesterday they were gathering on Aiken Green for their first class picture.
