Located on the corner of Maple Street and South Prospect Street, just a block from the academic hub of campus, the International House is a diverse living environment for almost thirty American and International residents. Whether spending time cooking in the full kitchen or hanging out in the spacious lounge, students residing in 215 spend time learning from and celebrating cultural differences. This residence hall provides a comfortable, homey atmosphere and close-knit community for its residents. The International House remains open during college breaks to allow International residents the opportunity to experience more of Burlington. 215 South Prospect houses approximately twenty-seven residents in two singles, nine doubles, and two triples. Like all Champlain College residence halls, 215 South Prospect has cable television, in-room phones and voicemail, and wireless internet. All residence halls are smoke and substance free, co-ed communities.

International Hall Philosophy

  • To offer a residence hall experience where students live with and among both American and International students
  • To provide students a place to live where difference is actively embraced and celebrated.
  • To develop an environment where students are intentionally challenged to develop a strong cultural awareness
  • To provide an inclusive space that encourages reciprocal teaching and learning from one another’s life experiences
