Children’s Club

The Children's Club is dedicated to providing outreach to the Burlington community, particularly for school age children. Members plan activities, tutor, fundraise, and provide learning opportunities for preschool and grade school students. While the club consists mostly of Education majors, it is not required and all are welcome. Most meetings consist of planning to help continue ongoing programming and future events. Members of the Children's Club have a vested interest in helping their community through education and community outreach.

Annual Events:

• Buddy Dubay Children's Concert
• Volunteer at the Soup Kitchen
• Local Art and Literature ‘Fun Fair'
• Scholastic Book Fair
• CPR/First Aid classes

*Donations are collected at all events open to the community, and are distributed to local charities. In the past the Children's Club has donated to: The Salvation Army, COTS, DREAM, King Street Youth Center, and various other charities.

Future Goals:

• Increase tutoring and community programming for young students
