Binch |
| For
more than three decades, David Binch, director of the Vermont
Information Technology Center, has been building bridges
between Vermont's technology sector and the world. He was
president and CEO of Champlain Cable Corporation for 20
years, where, among his other duties, he was active in licensing
Champlain Cable technology worldwide. He worked with Swiss
technology company, Huber+Suhner AG, to start up a division
in the US, which was subsequently moved to Vermont. He then
worked out of Huber+Suhner's Swiss headquarters for two
years before returning to Vermont. In December 2003, he
retired as Chairman of its North American group.
Binch
holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.
He is currently a Director of GBIC, Chair of its Technology
Committee and on the Chittenden County Workforce Investment
Board. Other positions he has held are Chair of the Vermont
Arts Council and of the Jericho Economic Development Committee.
He is a past president of the Flynn Center for the Performing
Arts and the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. Binch lives in
Jericho with his wife and their two Bernese Mountain Dogs.

| Gary
Kessler |
| Gary
C. Kessler is an Associate Professor and program director
of the Computer Networking and Digital Forensics Technology
majors at Champlain College in Burlington, VT. He is also
a consultant specializing in issues related to computer
and network security, cyberforensics, the Internet, TCP/IP,
and telecommunications technologies and applications. He
was formerly a Senior Network Security Analyst at SymQuest
Group, a network integration consulting company in South
Burlington, VT, and Director of Information Technology and
Senior Member of Technical Staff at Hill Associates, an
international telecommunications training firm in Colchester,
VT. Gary is a frequent speaker at industry conferences,
and has written 2 books and over 60 articles on a variety
of topics. Gary holds a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.S.
in Computer Science. He is also an instructor for the SANS
Institute.
On the
personal front, Gary has two children in college and lives
in Colchester, VT. He is a member of the Green Mountain
Critical Incident Debriefing Response Team and a Life Member
of the Colchester Rescue Squad. He enjoys boating, SCUBA
diving, bicycling, hiking, and playing 1970s-80s folk music
on guitar.

| Jane
Faust |
As
Program Administrator for the Vermont Information Technology
Center, Jane Faust is responsible for researching, developing,
and writing content for the VITC website, coordinating all
VITC events, administering grant programs and managing the
day-to-day functions of the organization.
Prior
to arriving in Vermont, Jane worked in various media capacities
in Chicago. She was Account Group Manager for Information
Resources, Inc. (IRI), an international market research
firm, and also spent several years working as a Senior Planner
for the Media Division of Warner Bros. Domestic Television
Distribution. Jane holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University
of Wisconsin. She and her husband live in Shelburne, with
their wonder-dog, Dingo.
