Community College of Vermont Articulation Agreement

Get the credit you deserve—and the four-year degree you want

Most important, continue to learn in the environment you prefer. If you earned your associate’s degree at Community College of Vermont (CCV) you may now be close to a bachelor’s degree at Champlain College! Through a special partnership between the schools, A. S. holders in accounting, business, Web site design and administration, network administration, and computer systems management may transfer as many as 75 credits to Champlain College.

Seamless admission

If you have graduated from any of the above mentioned programs at CCV with an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) you may be admitted to Champlain College’s Division of Continuing Professional Studies under a special Articulation Agreement between Champlain College and CCV. Students in other degree programs may also be admitted upon a review of their application by the admissions staff at Champlain’s Division of Continuing Professional Studies. Complete an “Intent to Enroll” form ( or PDF) and submit it as soon as possible to the Champlain College Division of Continuing Professional Studies, and to your CCV advisor with your CCV degree plan.

Transfer up to 75 credit hours

You may be awarded up to 75 of your CCV credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree, provided that similar required or elective courses are offered at Champlain College in the program you are matriculating into. To earn your Champlain Bachelor’s, at least 45 of the required 120 credit hours MUST be earned at Champlain.

Plan ahead

As a CCV student, you should plan your associate’s degree so that you can best fulfill Champlain’s B. S. requirements. You may call a Continuing Education Counselor at Champlain for assistance or work with your CCV advisor. You have saved thousands of dollars by beginning your education at CCV, and you may be able to save even more toward your Champlain College bachelor’s degree—if you bring well-planned credits with you!
