Champlain College has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE). This designation is presented jointly by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security and recognizes Champlain College’s commitment to providing high-quality education in this area of expertise.

Champlain College successfully passed a rigorous review of its commitment to academic excellence in Information Assurance education, meeting the stringent criteria set for by the NSA and DHS. Obtaining this designation is not only beneficial to Champlain. Also benefiting are Champlain students enrolled in Computer & Digital Forensics and Information Security programs, who are now eligible for scholarships and grants only offered through the Department of Defense Information Assurance Scholarship Program and the Federal Cyber Service Scholarship for Service Programs.
