Merit

Champlain College uses Merit pages from readMedia to publicize student achievements both inside and outside of the classroom. Students will receive recognition when they are named to an academic or leadership position, join a team, volunteer in the community, study abroad, make the dean's or president's lists, earn a scholarship, and much, much more.

Students will receive credit for their achievements and activities, while also creating an online profile - a Merit page - that they can use for jobs, internships, and references after graduation. And because good news is meant to be shared,  the information is also sent to their hometown news media.  Plus, students can easily share items with their friends and family through Facebook and Twitter.  Students have the option to add their own accomplishments, awards and internships to the page, or can choose to opt out of the program.
