Love Your Place

At Champlain, you determine the type of campus living you would like to experience, and we help you by providing multiple options.

As a first-year student, you may choose to live in one of 19 Victorian-era residence halls.

If you are a returning student, you can also choose to live in the Victorian-era residence halls during housing selection in the spring, or you can live in one of the modern suite-style residence halls on campus in the Hill section of Burlington. We also have a deluxe apartment-style housing option a few miles from central campus that provides students with a great introduction to apartment life.

If you need help with the housing selection process, please see the following pages:

Upper-class housing is located in 308 Maple (Substance Free Housing), Boardman Hall, Cushing Hall, Lakeview Hall, Spinner Place, and Valcour Hall.

The remainder of the buildings are first year halls.
