Champlain College has a state-of-the-art Fitness Center located in the IDX Student Life Center. We have a full CYBEX strength circuit designed to give you a complete body workout. We also have an extensive free weight section, a squat rack, roman chair, lat pull-down, CYBEX multi-use cable system, kettlebells, exercise balls, bands, and more. Our cardio section is made of four treadmills, three RC Trainers, two upright bikes, two recumbent bikes, one stair-stepper and one rowing machine. We pride ourselves in keeping our Fitness Center clean, current and fun. The Fitness Center of Champlain College has something for everybody. We welcome the beginner, intermediate and advanced individual. Free demos of the equipment are available upon request!
The Fitness Center is managed by Nakeeya Deas, Wellness Coordinator. She holds certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, CPR/AED, Zumba, Spin, Pilates and Kickboxing.

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
Champlain College offers some of the best group fitness classes in the area! We welcome faculty/staff and students of all fitness levels to all classes. We offer Yoga, Kickboxing, Pilates, Strength Conditioning, Zumba, Body Strength Interval classes, Meditation classes, and more. CHAMPLAIN COLLEGE DANCE TEAM
The Champlain College Dance Team is coached by Rose Bedard. Rose is a native Vermonter who brings her talent to Champlain in the forms of hip-hop, lyrical and jazz dance. The Dance Team is open to all students of Champlain College. The team works together on performances each semester to bring to the college and Burlington community.
