The Champlain Running Team
Cross Country Running at Champlain College is an all-inclusive competitive running team that trains as a group and competes in collegiate cross-country, road and trail races throughout Vermont and New England. We are currently part of the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA) in the Northeast Region and our goal every year is to qualify for the NIRCA Cross Country National Championship. The team focuses on athletic improvement, academic success and community involvement.
We have a no-cut policy and runners of all ability are welcome to join. Whether your goal is to just complete a race, or win races, we have a group that will help motivate and train with you. Our coaching staff, and team runners are supportive of all levels of runners.
We all have our own schedules, and we're all busy; so we are willing to work around you and your schedule to create a personalized training plan.
Join us every Monday- Friday at 5:00pm at the Samuel D. Champlain statue by the IDX Student Life Center for practice. For updates, check our Facebook page.
