Dick Turner
Richard Turner is an expert in managing correctional systems and substance abuse treatment programs.
From 1992 to 2003, he served as Director of Correctional Services for the Vermont Department of Corrections. He had executive responsibility for all correctional services for the Vermont Department of Corrections. Correctional Services include all offender education, program services, work programs, security and supervision conducted in nine correctional facilities and eighteen district offices. He currently serves as the Senior Program Director in Vermont for Phoenix Houses New England, Inc. He also runs his own consulting service.
He has taught at Community College of Vermont, Trinity College and the University of Vermont as well as Champlain College.
