The Environmental Club was formed in 2007 by students who wanted to be engaged in campus projects and to further the culture of sustainability across Champlain. Past projects included cafeteria food waste weighing project; tour of local recycling facility, a residence hall energy challenge, Move Out collection assistance, and organizing students to attend the annual Power Shift conference in Washington, DC.
