Saturday, September 20

8:30 – 10:30 am: Registration and coffee

 
Mix and mingle with Champlain faculty and staff in the IDX Student Life Center.

 
9:00 am – 2:00 pm: Bookstore is open

 

9:30 – 11:45 am: Faculty and staff presentations (listed here)

 
All presentations will run from 9:30 to 10:30 am and again from 10:45 to 11:45 am.

 
12:00 – 1:30 pm: Lunch with the Deans

 
With other families, dine with the dean and faculty of your student’s major.

 
1:30 – 2:30 pm: Walking Tour of the Campus

 
College Archivist Christina Dunphy leads a tour of several of Champlain’s historic buildings and shares some of their secrets.

 
1:30 pm: Enjoy activities in the beautiful Burlington area.

 
Take this free time to explore downtown or the waterfront, or venture farther to local trails and attractions. Information about local activities will be provided in your registration packet.

 
5:00 – 6:30 pm: Dinner in the IDX Student Life Center

 
Join your students and other families for a special dinner. Tickets are required; you may arrive at any time between 5:00 and 6:30 pm.

 
8:00 pm: An Evening of Comedy Improvisation

8:00 pm: “The Grind” Open Mic Coffee House

 
A safe space for folks to play and/or listen to all kinds of performances—music, spoken word, comedy, you name it. On this special night our regular Grind performers will provide a sampling of favorite selections for your entertainment.

10:00 am: 5K Run/Walk
