Program Details
While many programs excel in theory, Champlain’s MSM program will allow you to develop and practice the skills you need to guide the conflict-resolution processes through face-to-face learning and field work in addition to online course work. Our program’s strong theoretical foundation coupled with intensive hands-on experience will give you a solid grounding in the best practices in this important field.
Electives in the program allow you to choose a path that suits your career interests, better preparing you to make a smooth transition from the program to the professional world of mediation and conflict resolution. The program will allow you to be an effective and artful mediation practitioner immediately upon graduation.

Basic Mediation Workshop
If you must handle conflict in your work, are exploring mediation as a possible future vocation, or want to learn about mediation as a resource for clients, this workshop in basic mediation techniques is for you. A mediator guides difficult discussions, encouraging people to find a satisfactory outcome. Mediation can help resolve disputes among co-workers, neighbors, landlords and tenants, business partners, or business owners and clients.
