Roosevelt is a 2nd year software engineering student and was recently elected student council president. “I wanted a U.S.-based college because I feel that the U.S. system of education suits me best. And I really like the enthusiasm of the students to start and finish something!” When asked what he would tell potential students, he replied, “Come on down to the campus to see what our college has to offer.”
Megan
Megan is a 3rd year marketing major who spent fall 2007 in Mumbai. Part of Megan's experience included an internship working on a major music festival in Goa over the Christmas break where she helped set up the concept, coordinate artists’ schedules, and gathered information. One of the favorite parts of her job (and India) was that the work day didn’t begin until after 10. “I get to sleep in and stay up late!” The perfect world…
Rajna
Rajna is a 1st year business major, actively involved in Kayos. She found Champlain “a little bit different” and she enjoys learning by doing. “I like the all-around education offered here. I’m never bored!”
Nimoli
Nimoli is a recent business program graduate who had spent a semester on the Burlington campus. When asked why she chose Champlain College, she talked about her junior college experience in India. “I was a science major and realized that I was adept at memorizing information for exams but didn’t really know how to use it. I really enjoy the practical aspect of the Champlain curriculum.” Her favorite experience, of course, was her exchange semester in the U.S. “I made so many friends and learned so much about another country!”
