College's ISEP program (International
Student Exchange Project) is the beginning
of your overseas study experience.
Start with a visit to ISEP Faculty
Coordinator Alfonso Capone in the
International Exchange Office and
the world will begin to open. You'll
study abroad for a semester and earn
full academic credit for pre-approved
courses -- with no added tuition expense
-- at your choice of study abroad
partners: Universite du Havre and
ESC Rennes, both in France; Barcelona
Business School in Spain; Skövde
University in Sweden; Southampton
Institute in England; Barcelona Business
College in Spain; and Champlain Mumbai
in India. Scholarships are available,
and you may apply your financial aid
package to your semester abroad. Students
may also attend the International
University in Geneva, Switzerland
or Chester College in England by paying
tuition directly to the school. If
your interests go beyond Champlain's
partner colleges, you may design your
own international studies plan with
the help of Carol Moran-Brown, the
international student advisor.

Education students
have the opportunity for practicum
in local schools. A beautiful, historic
city in notrhwestern England, Chester
is an hour from Liverpool and three

Institute
In England,
Champlain students study at the
Southampton Institute. It's located
in the heart of Southampton, a seaside
city of 215,000 on the southern
coast of England.
Among Southampton's
pluses:
- It's near London
(just over an hour by train)

Europe is not far away (by ferry
or air)
- All the amenities
of a major city are right there:
libraries, theaters, museums,
art galleries, and more.
- It's home
to three universities, which together
host some 20,000 students from

ESC Rennes International School of
Business in Rennes
In France,
Champlain students study at the
Groupe ESC Rennes International
School of Business, a college of
some 450 students located a short
10-minute walk from the center of
Rennes.
Rennes, situated
in Brittany, is regarded as one
of the most appealing places to
live in all of France -- and that's
saying a lot. It's also just two
hours from both Paris and London.

Universite

Offering an international
student orientation and practical
training programs, Universite du
Havre enrolls 6,590 students in
France's second-largest port city.

Barcelona Business
School is located amid a wealth of
cultural, historical, sports and social

Sweden
The
University of Skövde
The University
of Skövde in Sweden hosts some
3,000 students. You won't feel abandoned
by your native language, because
many courses are conducted in English
and a large number of Skövde's
50,000 people speak English. Nestled
at the foot of Mount Billingen,
between Gothenburg and Stockholm,
Skövde is a prime spot for
downhill and cross country skiing.
Other recreational opportunities

lakes just a half-hour away.

University in Geneva
International
University in Geneva, Switzerland,
is a new school with fewer than
200 undergraduates. It offers many
of the same courses as Champlain
College, as well as instruction
in several foreign languages. Students
who decide to study at International
