Community Building Experience Opportunities

LEAD 102 - Community Building Experience Requirement

First-year students in the LEAD program are required to participate in a Community Building Experience. There are various opportunities throughout the year to fulfill this requirement. As these opportunities come up, we will post them here. Students can sign up for activities here, through their Peer Advisor or at the Hub.

To propose a Community Building alternative, other than what is on the list below, please fill out the proposal form and submit it to the LEAD office in Student Life. We will reivew your proposal and get back to you in about one week. LEAD Community Building Proposal Form

*Please note: Some of these activities/programs involve outside community members who are dependent on this volunteer service, and space is limited. Therefore it is imperative that if you cannot make the event, you must notify Maggie Melvin (mmelvin@champlain.edu) at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. If you do not give notice or simply do not show up, you will not be permitted to sign up again for this type of event.
