Competitive Accounting Scholarship Awards
Several area certified public accounting (CPA)
firms have established scholarship awards for Champlain College
accounting students. KPMG is an international CPA firm with an
office in Burlington, and the others are prominent regional CPA
firms.
The following awards are presented
at the spring Honors Celebration to students chosen by the accounting
faculty:
- David M. Coates
(given by KPMG)
- Gallagher Flynn
and Company
- Grippin, Donlan
and Roche
- Kittell Branagan
and Sargent
Champlain College students have also
competed successfully against students
from other institutions for scholarships
from the following regional organizations:
- The Vermont
Society of CPAs
- The New England
Association of Accountants
- The New England
Graduate Accounting Study Conference
The Accounting Excellence Scholarship
The Accounting Excellence Scholarship was created to honor the dedication and commitment of our incredible accounting faculty, and to enlighten future students about the rich and rewarding education they would experience as accounting students at Champlain College.
