Program Highlights
- Build a solid Business degree
that is uniquely your own based on your combination
of interests and career goals. By choosing two Business clusters
from seventeen business specialty areas, you won’t need
to commit your degree to a single focus. Your firm grasp of
entry-level skills in an area of your choice will help jump-start
your career.
- Gain hands-on experience through
at least one internship at a company such as IDX Systems,
Merrill Lynch, American Express, Gadfly Records, Primerica,
Burton Snowboards, Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, Shark
Communications, Fletcher CSI, Cope Associates, Church Street
Marketplace and Fletcher Allen Healthcare or another company
that fits your interests and goals.
- Work in teams on “real-life”
projects for a start-up, an existing business or a
nonprofit organization while developing vital skills in marketing
research, financial planning or product design. Many courses
use a hands-on approach to build your experience and creativity,
skills that are then applied directly to help a sponsoring business.
- Earn your bachelor’s degree
plus your MBA or MS in just five years through Champlain’s
“4+1” articulated programs with Clarkson University
or Southern New Hampshire University.
- Develop the skills needed for today’s
workplace by identifying your areas of interest early
and then applying these tools through internships and other
field-based projects.
- Explore seemingly endless career
opportunities. From small retail shops to international
corporations, every kind of company, organization and government
agency relies on business expertise. Whether you decide to use
your new skills immediately in the job market or in graduate
studies, you’ll have the long-term career mobility that
comes from a well-rounded business education.
