If you’re intrigued by the intricate technology that binds computers into networks and connects people with information, this is the major for you. In Champlain’s Computer Networking program, you’ll learn how to design and create efficient information technology networks, how to provide the technical management and support to keep them running and how to safeguard the systems and the data they control. You’ll explore data communications in one semester and create your own network in another.
Champlain’s Computer Networking program focuses on both technical competencies and communication skills, so you’ll be prepared either to take a leadership role in planning, designing and managing data communications networks or to continue with your studies at graduate school. The job market is wide open for graduates with skills in this field.
