The criminal justice
faculty is constantly networking with
area criminal justice agencies to
provide internship opportunities,
assess employment opportunities, and
develop collaborative training relationships.
Since many students have career interests
that extend beyond the law enforcement
role, we work hard to find exciting
opportunities to meet each student’s
interests and goals.
In Addition to Numerous
Police Departments, Criminal Justice
Students Have Interned at:
- The Vermont Department
of Corrections (Community Corrections
and Institutions)
- The Chittenden
County and Franklin County State's
Attorneys Office
- The Chittenden
County Medical Examiner's Office
- The Chittenden
County Public Defender's Office
- The Northeastern
Family Institute
- The Chittenden
County and Franklin County Units
for Special Investigations
- The Chittenden
County Victim/Witness Assistance
Program.
Each internship
site has a field supervisor working
for that particular agency. Many of
these agencies are grateful for the
opportunity to work with students
who are often offered employment after
they graduate.
