Facilities

Champlain’s campus, which is seated on a hillside in downtown Burlington overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but our facilities and labs provide a state-of-the-art digital working environment.

All GDD computers are loaded with current versions of discipline-specific software including the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), Flash, Dreamweaver, ImageReady, Fireworks, Final Cut Pro, Maya and many others. Students have ready access to Mac labs, a photographic darkroom, and four audio-visual suites equipped with videotaping, digital media and editing equipment, hardware and software to produce professional-level film projects. Digital still and video cameras and microphones can be checked out without charge, and scanners and printers are readily available.
