Be ready to take
full take advantage of the unlimited
career opportunities on tap for creative
Web site professionals by joining
Champlain’s Web Development
& Design program. You’ll
be exposed to all aspects of the field,
from Web and database design to putting
up a live site for a client. You’ll
develop technical, problem-solving,
communications and teamwork skills
that will prepare you to join a team
of designers or start your own business.
You’ll be
designing and building Web sites in
your first semester at Champlain.
In your junior and senior years, you’ll
enhance your communication and problem-solving
skills while expanding your knowledge
of Web development tools and techniques.
Using Champlain’s extensive
network of servers and more than 260
high-speed PCs, you’ll use state-of-the-art,
industry-standard Web design and development
software. And with the program’s
associations with industry-savvy professors
and guidance by its Advisory Board,
you’ll have ongoing input from
professionals in the field who will
advise you.
Program Highlights

and network with professionals in
the field.
Get
involved in an internship or paid
project at Web development
firms and local businesses.
Develop
a set of foundation skills
in Web site design, Web navigation,
database design, Web scripting and
programming, Web usability and systems
analysis, design and implementation
