Jean French

Jean French is native of Boston, Massachusetts and is currently a resident of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she is a full-time Lecturer of Computer Science at Coastal Carolina University. Before accepting her position as Lecturer, she held the position of University Web Manager / Webmaster. Other CCU positions include WebCT Administrator and PHP programmer. She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in both the business (MIS) and computer science fields. Before her employment at Coastal Carolina University, she worked for the Massachusetts Port Authority managing technical and financial projects for one of Massport's Boston facilities.

Jean earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geosciences from Boston College in 1991 and an MBA with a concentration in Management of Computer Information Systems in 2000 from the University of Massachusetts / Boston.

She is currently attending Nova Southeastern University where she earned a Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance: Administration in Information Security and is completing her dissertation to earn a PhD in Computer Information Systems.

Jean is married to Dennis French and has a mini Dachshund puppy named Harley Princess. Jean's spare time is spent with family and working on her research.
