Graduate Certificate - Online

In a world full of complex disputes, professionals with constructive conflict engagement skills have never been more in demand. Champlain's graduate certificate in Applied Conflict Studies is designed for people interested in coursework in the field who may not have the time or desire to earn a master's degree. You may be a lawyer who wants to offer mediation services at your firm, someone who already has a terminal degree, or a person who wants to use conflict resolution skills in your job.

The 18-credit program, offered mostly online, takes about a year to complete. The program includes a required 11-day, on-campus residency that may be divided into two-day and nine-day components. Students who pursue the certificate take five courses with master's students and may decide to use their credits to complete the master's degree in mediation.
