Music Makers is a choral group of men and women who perform music (both a cappella and accompanied) representing a wide variety of styles and cultures, from the Renaissance to the present. The group rehearses one night a week for two hours throughout the semester and performs one or two concerts a year. In addition, the Music Makers group is often invited to sing for special events on campus and has performed on Church Street in Burlington to raise money for a local non-profit agency. New members are welcome at the beginning of each semester. While there is no audition required, it is expected that the singers have had choral singing experience in high school and are committed to attending the weekly rehearsals.
Past Events/ Accomplishments: The Inauguration of President Dave Finney, 9/11 Memorial Services, and Dedication of the IDX Student Life Complex
Future Events/Goals: Various concerts throughout each semester
