Champlain College has recognized two outstanding members of the College community. Elaine Strunk is the recipient of this year’s Elizabeth A. Durick Staff Service Award, and Janice Gohm Webster was awarded the Edward Phelps Lyman Professorship.
The awards are based on nominations from staff and faculty, with Champlain President Dave Finney making the final decision.
“One of the best ways that we will continue to accomplish our many goals is to celebrate what we do well,” said Finney. “It was a pleasure to read these heartfelt tributes in honor of those who conduct themselves in the spirit of these prestigious awards."
