Nearly 200 accepted students and their families visited the Champlain College campus on March 27 to learn more about the college, the student life and residential options and residential choices.

Saturday, April 17, is the second and last of Champlain College's Accepted Student events.

In terms of registrations, this is the largest admissions event on record. We have 385 students registered and we are expecting more than 1,000 people to visit campus.

In addition to welcoming students from New England and the Mid-Atlantic states, students are coming from California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. Massachusetts has the largest number of student registrants (106) with New York (55) and Connecticut (54) placing silver and bronze.

The agenda for Saturday, April 17 is:
8:30-9:45 am: REGISTRATION, INTRO TO STUDENT LIFE, AND MORE in the IDX Student Life Center and around campus. Student Resources will be available for questions. Also available: tours of campus, brunch, residence halls visits, individual Financial Aid meetings, the Mock Trial, engage with faculty and much more.
10-10:45 am: AN EDUCATION LIKE NO OTHER: Learn about your Professional Education from the Deans of the divisions, as well as a representative of Core and LEAD.
11-11:45 am: A COMMUNITY LIKE NO OTHER: Students will take a short walking tour of Burlington. Parents and family members will hear from the Champlain Parent Advisory Council. Champlain President David F. Finney and other leaders will host an open Q&A session.
