The Spring 2010 Champlain View, a magazine for alumni and friends of Champlain College is now available online. Read the Magazine here.

There is also a new format that allows readers to look at the magazine online, zoom in on articles and even read it on their smart phones. See the new format here.

The spring issue includes feature stories on "Breakaway" a video game project at Champlain College's Emergent Media Center (EMC) being developed in partnership with the support of the United Nations and the Population Media Center. The interactive games and social networking application hopes to engage, educate and change attitudes of boys between the ages of 8 and 15 about violence against women and girls and encourage respectful behavior toward females.

The challenge of engaging students in community service is also explored in a featured story, along with news and notes about students, faculty, staff and alumni news and a preview look at Roger H. Perry Hall, the new home of Admission, Financial Aid, Student Accounts and Advising and Registration.

Printed copies of the magazine will be mailed to alumni and friends of the college the week of May 17.

It was also announced this week that the magazine was a Silver Winner in the 25th Annual Education Advertising Awards, sponsored by Higher Education Marketing.
