November 7-9, 15 & 16: Play
Champlain College Players perform Shakespeare’s comedy “As You Like It.” Alumni Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.

November 13: Hockey
One of Champlain’s intramural
teams takes home the cup at this championship game. At Cairns Arena, So. Burlington, 10:20 p.m.

November 20: Lecture
Visiting professor Willard Sterne
Randall stresses the Vermont
connections of “Abraham Lincoln, The First Modern President.” Alumni Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.

November 25: Kickboxing
Students work out with movements inspired by the martial arts. Monday and Wednesday nights in the Morgan Room, 6:30 p.m.

December 5: Writers’ exchange
Champlain student writers take on scribes from Saint Michael’s College and University of Vermont. Morgan Room, 7 p.m.

December 12: Galactic bowling
Yankee Lanes becomes the site of a dance hall bowling party — with a DJ, dance contests and crazy bowling competitions. At Yankee Lanes, Colchester, 10 p.m.

January 23: Moviemaking
Award-winning filmmaker Jay Craven speaks about the turn-of-the-century activist Emma Goldman and his new film based on the play “Emma.” Morgan Room, 7 p.m.

Ongoing: Campus tours
Learn about Champlain from a
student tour guide during a campus tour, offered Monday through Friday at 9 and 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. year round.
