XM Satellite Radio, WNYC Radio (N.Y.) and Public Radio International
In November 2007, e-Business faculty member Elaine Young was interviewed on the POTUS ’08 election channel on XM Satellite Radio in regards to presidential candidates’ use of social media. She was also heard across the country on a show called “Your Billion Dollar President”—a news special produced by WNYC, Public Radio International, WGBH Boston, BBC and New York Times Radio. Young blogs about how the presidential candidates leverage social media for their campaigns.
New Digital Filmmaking degree

Vermont’s largest daily paper covered a digital editing class and interviewed faculty members Nancy Kerr and Karen Klove as part of a November 20 feature on Champlain’s new Digital Filmmaking program.
Students take action

A November 18 article featured Champlain students Victoria Lee and Samantha St. Pierre, who created a petition in support of Darfur, while a November 13 article featured Champlain students who created a Tent City to raise funds for Burlington’s homeless shelter.
