The MS in Healthcare Administration degree has three start terms throughout the year, and applications are processed as they are received. The first step in applying to an online master's degree program at Champlain College is to begin your online application. You'll need to create an account, select the program you are applying to, and follow the step by step instructions. Keep in mind you can save your progress and log back in at a later point to complete your application.

Bachelor's Degree Requirement

We encourage students from a variety of backgrounds to consider Champlain College’s graduate programs. You must have completed a baccalaureate-level program from a regionally accredited institution, and have a GPA that demonstrates your ability to perform graduate-level academic work.

Work Experience Requirement

We suggest that applicants have a minium of 2 years experience or current employment in a healthcare setting with opportunities for applying new skills. Applicants with limited work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Official Transcripts

Official academic transcripts are required from all colleges and universities you have previously attended, whether or not a degree was conferred. Foreign transcripts must be evaluated by a recognized equivalency service. Request transcripts be sent directly to Champlain College Online by mail, email, or fax:

You will need to submit an up-to-date resume that communicates your professional and educational background. 

Essay

As part of the online application, you will be asked to submit an essay. The essay is comprised of 3 short answer questions about your personal and professional goals and your approach to online learning, requiring a 1-2 paragraph response each.  

Letter of Recommendation

You are required to submit one professional letter of recommendation from someone who can assess your capabilities as an employee and/or student, preferably a supervisor or manager.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

Non-native English speakers must achieve a TOEFL score of at least 600 paper-based or 250 computer-based to qualify. For more information on the TOEFL, visit the TOEFL website.

GMAT & GRE

The GMAT & GRE are not a required part of the application process.
