Your Instructor
Gary C. Kessler, Ph.D., CCE, CISSP is president of Gary Kessler Associates, a training and consulting company specializing in computer and network security and digital forensics. He is also the Interim Associate Program Director of the M.S. in Information Assurance program at Norwich University
in Northfield, VT.
Gary was an Associate Professor at Champlain College from 2000-2010, where he started the undergraduate Computer & Digital Forensics (C&DF) program in 2003 and the M.S. in Digital Investigation Management (MS-DIM) program in 2009. Gary is also a member of the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Edith Cowan University (Perth, Western Australia).
Gary holds a Ph.D. in Computing Technology in Education and is a Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Gary's main areas of professional interest are computer and network forensics, information assurance, and TCP/IP and the Internet. He is the co-author of two professional texts and over 70 articles, a frequent speaker at regional, national, and international conferences, and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Digital Forensics, Security and Law.
