Melissa joined Champlain College in January 2006 after 19 years at the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce and GBIC in Burlington, Vermont. She has extensive experience in education reform and workforce and economic development. As a change agent, she has focused her professional career on creating partnerships between the business and education communities.

She is a graduate of New York University and Antioch University Graduate School.

Cathy Brotzman joined Champlain College in 2008 after 18 years as Director of Education and Consulting Services at SirsiDynix, a provider of strategic technology solutions. Cathy's expertise is in the area of consultative project management. She has successfully orchestrated large software implementations for organizations such as the State of Georgia and Texas Medical Center. Cathy also has many years of experience in business and financial research.

She received her MLS from the University of Maryland.

Wayne joined Champlain College after 20 years as President of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce in Burlington and as an owner and operator of restaurants in Vermont. Wayne shares his expertise in entrepreneurship, financial management, sales and marketing, executive & management development, and economic development. Before returning to Vermont in 1986, Wayne served in the White House under President Ronald Reagan as Deputy Undersecretary for the U.S. Department of Education.

Wayne holds advanced degrees in Accounting and Finance.
