Due to Low enrollment in the Hybrid VAEYC Conference/Champlain Course, it will not be running this year. Please contact Laurel Bongiorno to express your interest in enrolling for next year.

As a conference attendee, you can enroll in a specially designed course, Exploring Young Children's Learning, offered as a "hybrid course" both online and in person at the conference itself. It's a great way to address IPDP goals, meet renewal Child Development Associate (CDA) requirements, and earn Early Childhood Vermont Teacher Licensing continuing education credits. The course will be taught by Melissa Riegel-Garrett, M.Ed., VAEYC's Executive Director.
Course Description
Students explore young children's learning through the reading of professional journals, through discussion and reflection regarding their own practical experience at the VAEYC Conference, and through reflective writing focused on their own classroom experiences. Through the exploration of young children's learning students are challenged to apply their new skills and knowledge in the development of their classroom curriculum, routines, and learning environment.

Sleepy-eyed, I stepped out of the guest bedroom on one of my last mornings in this small town.
