Great Services that Make Living Easier

The way we see it, anything you can do to make life easier so you can focus on your studies is a good idea. Here are a few services that provide simple solutions to questions like, "Can I please get someone else to do my laundry?" and "Where will I keep my bike and my longboard when it's snowing, and my snowboard and gear when it's not?"

Laundry Facilities & Laundry Service

All Champlain College residence halls have coin-operated washers and dryers, which also accept the Champlain College Cash Card (with the exception of Quarry Hill and Spinner Place). But if you're not into doing your own wash, another laundry option is E & R Laundry and Dry Cleaners, which provides a pickup/drop-off service (this is a paid service, not included as part of housing cost). Information about this service is sent to students during the summer prior to move-in  (or you can download it here). Great Bedding Packages

The extra-long beds provided in Champlain College residence halls are designed to give every student a great night's sleep. These extra-long mattresses require specially-sized sheets, comforters and blankets. We highly recommend the Residence Hall Linens program, which the College has been offering for more than a decade. This specialty retailer provides a varied selection of specially-sized linens guaranteed to fit every residence hall bed and last until graduation. Residence Hall Linens also provides many of the other necessities your new room will require such as extra-long thermal blankets, pillows, extra-long comforters, storage solutions and extra-long mattress pads. Remote Storage Options

For students wishing to store their belongings over break periods or simply looking for some extra storage space for items they don't use on a daily basis, Kilburn and Gates Storage offers storage, as well as pick-up and delivery options for Champlain College students.  For more information, please contact Daniel McFadden at 802.862.4100.
