Our Newest Building
Tri Res A To Open Fall 2012
Visitors to our campus may notice construction on the northwest corner of South Willard and Maple Streets; this is our newest residence hall, tentatively named the Tri-Res A. This building will be the first in a series of three new residence halls we will be constructing on this corner of campus. Visit the Champlain Campus Planning site for construction update.
Features of Tri-Res A include:
- Sound design and solid construction built to last for 100+ years
- Four Floors, housing 95 students in single- or double-occupancy rooms
- LEED certified for healthy living and energy-efficient performance
- Full Residential Life program and services with three Resident Assistants living in building
- Spectacular lake views - building is oriented to face new quad area being constructed as part of Champlain College Master Plan.
- Quiet study areas and common space for group study
- Large ground floor lounge with community kitchen
- Bicycle storage room
- SkiSnowboard tuning & storage room
- Large laundry facility
- ADA accessibility on all floors
