When will my refund check be ready?
Each semester, students who receive financial aid that overpays their student account statement, can receive a refund check from the Student Account Office after their enrollment is confirmed, usually the third Friday of the semester. Checks are available for pickup at the office from 1 PM to 5 PM on Friday, 8:30 to 5:00 the next Monday and 8:30 to 3:00 PM on Tuesday. Checks not picked up will be mailed to the billing address of the student unless it is a refund to the parent on a PLUS loan overpayment. Study Abroad students must also complete enrollment verification through the International Office before a refund check can be mailed to the home address.
How do I update my address?
Addresses can be updated online at the Advising and Registration Center. Billing statements are mailed to the home address and refund checks are mailed to the local address during the academic year.
Can I pay my bill over the phone?
No, payment can ONLY be made in the form of:
- Online at http://www.champlain.edu/Student-Accounts/Pay-Bill.html
- Cash or check in person at the Student Account Office
- Check via the mail

How do I receive a billing statement?
Full-time students receive a fall billing statement at the home address around June 25th and the spring statement around November 1st.
Part-time students receive an email at their mymail account to view their semester statement online at QuikPAY after registering for courses on WebAdvisor.
I do not feel comfortable paying my bill online. What other payment methods are available?
You can mail a check to the Student Account Office. Please indicate the student I.D. number on the check. Or you can pay in person at the Student Account Office located in Perry Hall.
Is a payment plan available?
Yes, full- time students may pay through the Tuition Management Payment Plan, TMS, offered for the full academic year. (fall and spring semesters.) See the link to "Payment Plans" at Student Accounts or www.afford.com for more information.

If I am a part-time student on a payment plan with FACTS how can I change my credit card number or expiration date?
You can change your credit card number and expiration date with FACTS by calling 1-800-624-7092.

How can a Full-Time Undergraduate Student waive or upgrade the Student Health Insurance?
Students waive or upgrade the insurance on WebAdvisor, see "FT-Decline/Upgrade Health In." to access the online waiver/upgrade form. Link to WebAdvisor: https://my.champlain.edu/
What is the Deadline for Health Insurance Waivers?
You must waive or upgrade the Student Health Insurance by August 27th. For students entering for the spring semester, the deadline is January 5th.
Are students who are awarded Federal Pell grants eligible for Bookstore vouchers?
Students who have been awarded a Federal Pell Grant and will have a credit balance on their account due to solely the receipt of Federal Stafford, PLUS, Pell, SEOG, or Perkins funds, are eligible to request book vouchers. These vouchers may be used at the Champlain College bookstore to purchase books and/or supplies. The College has the right to make to the final determination of the amount that is available for the student.
Eligible students who fail to take advantage of this opportunity will be deemed as opting out of this option for the semester.
