King Street Center

King Street Center is a not-for-profit community organization that provides children and families the core life-building skills necessary for a healthy and productive future.

Our high quality programs build academic skills, improve physical fitness, and develop the fortitude needed to succeed at home, in school, and in life.

Check out these Summer 2014 volunteer opportunities:

  • Volunteers age 16+years old who would be willing, capable & excited to hold hands with our Pre-Schoolers during afternoon adventures in the community. 3-5 p.m. on weekdays.
  • The Junior-Senior Buddy program is looking for mentors. Each mentor is matched up with one child to spend a few hours together every week. This is a one-year (minimum) commitment.
  • Summer boost literacy support for kids K-5, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Weekdays, June 23-August 15.

If interested, please contact Gabriella Tufo-Strouse, Volunteer Director at gabriella@kingstreetcenter.org.
