This is Maggie's first semester as Area Coordinator for North Campus and third semester as an Eco-Rep. She sees this as a good opportunity to become a peer leader and share her passion with others. Maggie enjoys reading and writing outside, taking in the gorgeous views of Burlington and wearing knee-high socks.

In his third year at Champlain, Paul is returning for his second semester as an Eco-Rep. His passion for the environment surrounds conserving the earth for all peoples now and to come. You can find Paul with a smile on his face at the Burlington Farmers' Market, swimming, or saving a squirrel's life.

Major: Social Work

Grace became an Eco-Rep because she wants to work with people in order to make environmentally friendly changes on campus. She comes from Fairfield, Connecticut and her favorite thing to do outside is gardening and hiking.

Nia is in her last year at Champlain, and returns to us as Eco-Rep Area Coordinator for Central Campus. As an Eco-Rep, she is passionate about enhancing her own awareness on environmental topics and informing others as well. In her free time, Nia writes interracial romance novels.

Isabel is from Topsfield, MA, and is a first year at Champlain. She joined us to become more active in the community and work to help the environment. Her pets include three dogs, two frogs and one fish.

Major: Elementary & Early Education

As a first year at Champlain, Sylvan is happy to be in a leadership role that advocates for the environment. She enjoys rock climbing, going to the waterfront, and taking in the beautiful scenery. Fun fact: Sylvan speaks Spanish.

Mellea is from Floyd, Virginia, where she lived her first 12 years without running water or electricity. She loves Burlington because of how easy it is to interact with the community. By being an Eco-Rep, Mellea reaches out to folks in order to inspire them to change the world.
