Computer Networking and Information Security (CNIS) Club


The Computer Networking and Information Security club, or simply CNIS or cybersecurity club, is focused on providing an open community for individuals who share an interest in computer security topics. The events of the club are heavily based on the interests of the members and vary as such. Generally meetings are centered around learning about new security or networking topics via lectures or labs. Other events have included Capture the Flag hacking competitions, Hands on Lock Picking, LAN parties, Vulnerable Virtual machine penetration tests, Suicide Linux competitions and even cyber movie nights.

Meetings are on Mondays at 8:30 PM in Skiff 100, but are tentative based on schedules and campus events. The best place to check is on the club Facebook page
