The extensive hands-on learning that takes place in the first two years of this program means that students in this major are highly sought after for paid internships and positions after their second year and have a variety of career options. Our graduates are working in areas like web development, e-commerce, networking, application development and support.
Champlain also has many existing relationships with companies throughout Burlington and Vermont, giving you access to jobs and internships in the area. We have a wide network of successful graduates in the Computer Information Technology major. For example, 100% of Computer Information Technology graduates from the Class of 2016 achieved career success within six months of graduating, 88% are employed and of them, 86% are employed in positions relevant to their career goals.
