In most undergraduate business programs, students learn the business disciplines independently of each other; however, to be truly effective in today's business world, leaders and managers must break down these silos and use an integrated and creative approach to problem solving.

At Champlain, regardless of your major, you'll get hands-on experience in management, marketing, international business, economics, accounting, finance and law through integrated course work, team-based projects, business simulations and internships. Your Real Business Education Begins Here

Your business education at Champlain starts day one.

From your very first semester, you'll step right onto the business playing field with a course in business fundamentals, and an interdisciplinary experiential course in which you'll begin learning the roles and rules of running a real business with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Each semester thereafter, this pattern will continue as you take more fundamental business courses (including: accounting, business law, economics, finance and applied math), dive deeper into your selected major and experience interdisciplinary courses in contemporary marketing; corporate social responsibility & ethics; and doing business in a global economy.

Outside the classroom, you'll engage with local businesses through internships in your major (an internship which will have a strong likelihood of turning into a part-time or full-time job-just ask any of our recent graduates!). You'll also have the opportunity to get international experience by studying abroad during your third year at either our campus in Montreal, Canada, or our campus in Dublin, Ireland, or in another country through one of our many third-party study abroad partners. You may even participate in an internship at your study abroad location.
