How do you prepare for a world of technology yet unimagined?
The Information Technology field is driven by unprecedented innovation and relentless change. Whether your interests draw you to computer engineering technologies, information sciences and support or if you’re more inclined toward telecommunications, the IT field has never been more complicated—or competitive.
In the Division of ITS, we help our students become the problem solvers, system designers and technology professionals of the future. Through a combination of classroom experiences led by acclaimed faculty who have extensive professional backgrounds and a passion to teach, extensive experience-based projects you will get the knowledge, skills and experience you need to compete in the professional world.
Experience in Action
Our programs have been designed to help you think in the language of technology, so you will be able to continually provide innovative, sound and ethical technology solutions in your career. No matter what your major within the Division of ITS, you’ll be working with the career-specific technology by working with the latest equipment, software and systems. You’ll also have unique opportunities to experience your field in action. You may find yourself in a team competing in the Northeast Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition; or through your professor’s contacts, you may find yourself building a website or protecting a computer network for a local (but internationally focused) business. These opportunities to apply your education in ITS and the connections that you’ll make in the industry will set you apart from your peers graduating from other institutions.
