This specialization focuses on the components of a modern-day information system: operating systems, desktop computers, networking, network and web services, databases—as well as the interaction and communication between them.
Students will learn about each component and how they interact to provide fast, reliable, and secure access to data and services. Students will also learn how to design, implement, and maintain information systems using accepted best practices in a hands-on environment.
