Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance

Champlain College has been designated as a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance by the National Security Agency. The course content and curriculum meets the criteria established by the NSA and the Department of Homeland Security. More information about this program can be found here. There are a little over 100 such centers in the United States.
The NSA and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) jointly sponsor the National Centers of Academic Excellence in IA Education (CAE/IAE) and CAE-Research (CAE-R) programs. The goal of these programs is to reduce vulnerability in our national information infrastructure by promoting higher education and research in IA and producing a growing number of professionals with IA expertise in various disciplines
This site provides access to Information Assurance resources available internally at Champlain College as well as external resources including conferences, scholarship opportunties, internship possibilities, etc.
