Event Management Minor
Why Choose to Minor in Event Management?
In many businesses, there is a need to create, plan, promote and execute successful events that address a wide range of objectives. Knowledge of event management will be highly useful for managing events for your own organization, executing events for a venue, creating your own entrepreneurial events or acting as an independent event planning consultant.
With the Event Management minor, you will develop the knowledge and skills to plan a wide array of business, social, cultural, educational, entertainment, publicity and fundraising events within a global context. Also, you’ll take an active role in creating and producing multiple events, both on and off-campus. If you choose this minor, your four years at Champlain will include business courses, event management courses and the College Core curriculum.
